DAY 31 - MONDAY, 12 AUGUST 2013 SEA DAY

Another welcome sea day with plenty going on around the ship as usual.  Trying to keep up with the blog is going to be a nightmare for me but I will do my best – just too much to diarize!!!

Ros organized a Farewell Lunch for those leaving the ship in either Rome or Venice and it was very well attended, again - and also organized for a massive Chocolate Cake for us to devour, soooooo good.  Joanne thanked Ros for all of her hard work and making these events so much fun for us and presented her with a big bunch of flowers – thanks again Ros!!

Over the last few weeks we have been having a spin off of Dancing with the Stars, ours has been "Dancing with the Stripes" and it has been very, very good – finals today and a very popular winner was Alfred Smith (an Officer Cadet) and his lovely partner, Ashley.

Caught the David Copperfield show, before sprucing up for another formal night, and then for the young at heart another deck party, the Volcanic B"ASH" Party - as we sailed past Mt. Stromboli this evening, but she was not 'glowing'…..
