We shared our breakfast this morning in the Dining Room with about 80 of our Dawn Nomads, and a special celebration – Happy Birthday Norm – hope you have a great day!!! One of our table mates, Edie from Canada, had never tasted Vegemite before so we all decided that it was time!!! I think the pictures will tell the story, but she didn't dislike it!!...... A naughty, but delicious brekky, but before we had finished our toast, another one of those special 'announcements' from our Captain….. "Due to advice from head office, we sadly have to cancel our port of Ashdod, due of course to the possible troubles brewing"….. Darn, not now going to Jerusalem but we'd rather be safe than sorry!! Which means more sea days for us, making 9 in a row!!!
It's smooth sailing as we head north along the Red Sea to our overnight anchorage for refueling, before we go through the Suez Canal tomorrow.
Sterling Steakhouse had their restaurant 'under the stars' tonight and I thought I would post some pictures of how pretty it looked.
