DAY 17 - MONDAY, 29 JULY 2013 SEA DAY

Today we cruise across the Bay of Bengal and it appears it is time to have our Pirate Drill.  All passenger services are cancelled and all passengers have returned to their cabins with balcony doors and curtains drawn, whilst the ship's company exercise their piracy drill routine, with water hoses in hand!!!

It's short and sweet and we're able to resume any one of the numerous activities on offer……   destination talks;  quizzes;  bridge/cards;  craft;  dancing;  table tennis;  shuffle board;  carpet bowls;  movies;  swimming;   sunning;  gambling;  reading;  chatting;  eating;  drinking;  and so very much more!!!

We're all invited to the Captain's Circle Party this evening, with a very early start of 5.00pm, when our new Captain Philip Pickford makes  his first grand appearance and introduces the most travelled passengers on board – 1,707 days – gosh that's about 5 years on board – must have a phobia of land, wonder if he will ever go home??  One thing is for sure, we will never reach that status, as much as we would like to!!!

Another fun and very long night all dressed up and voila!!!....  Lobster Tails are on the menu – yeah!!!  Think we all had a couple and even some delicious prawns to bring even bigger smiles to our faces.
