Today is a very welcome sea day as we sail through the Adriatic Sea and into the Ionian Sea, with Greece and Albania on the one side and Italy on the other, then it's into the Aegean Sea.
There is never a dull moment on board and after catching up with some emails we went to our 'Dawn Nomad' get together to welcome all those new passengers who boarded in Venice – around 40 people. Ros held the floor again and did a great job of introducing some of the senior staff and making the newbies welcome.
It's a very special day for one of our couples – their '50th Wedding Anniversary – Congratulations to Sharon & David'!!! Ros presented them with a lovely bouquet of flowers and we all wish them many more happy years together. We then all (about 90 of us) had lunch in the Dining Room together.
It was back to pounding the Promenade this afternoon before getting ready for an early show at 6.15 – Mel Mellers (Comedian/Magician?) and Paul Emmanuel and enjoyed his singing. Off to feed our faces, once again, and a night cap in the Wheelhouse Bar.
