DAY 6 - THURSDAY, 18 JULY 2013 SEA DAY

Yet another lazy sea day as we pass by Cape York, the northern most point of Australia, later this afternoon, heading west.  The weather is so much warmer and the woolies have been packed away…. now time to take those swimmers out of the cupboard and see whether they still fit and, worse than that, expose our winter glow to the elements!!

Got a quick dose of Vitamin D, after unwrapping ourselves and finding the least populous part of the ship – one of our favourite spots on Deck 14 – great spot to gaze over that beautiful ocean and also be in touch with all the go, a deck below.

After another delightful lunch (soup and salad seems to fit the bill as we are trying to be so, so good!!) in the dining room, and then back with our good old Canasta mates for our first attempt at 6 handed…..  it worked and was good fun.   Late afternoon walks for us before sprucing up for dinner and lounging around for the evening…..
