DAY 5 - WEDNESDAY, 17 JULY 2013 SEA DAY

The nights and days have been so calm, you would hardly know you were on a ship and this afternoon we will be cruising through The Great Barrier Reef.

It's going to be a real lazy day today, in preparation for a very big night tonight – the third and final State of Origin up on deck under the stars (MUTS).  We've been wearing blue all day and crossing our fingers and toes – can we pull it off – PLEASE!!!!

Joanne and Garry looked the part with blue wigs, flags, balloons and lots of enthusiasm BUT we did have a couple of Queenslanders (Ros & Arnold), sitting with us who were probably going to give us heaps!!!!   We enjoyed yummy hamburgers from the Grill (well Colin had yummy prawns) and it's time for 'kick-off'.   The Blues started so well and it was a great game but we just couldn't consolidate that good play and we all know the result now….  Those Maroons win again for the 8th time in a row – oh well, there's always next year!!!  Time to cry ourselves to sleep……….

Photos:  Go the Blues!!! – suits you Garry;  Corey supporting the Blues;  A very good turnout under the stars (think we were outnumbered);  oh dear, it's not looking good;  and of course, Winners are Grinners.
