DAY 3 – MONDAY, 15 JULY 2013 BRISBANE

We arrived at the Brisbane Cruise Terminal early this morning and it's a beautiful sunny 21deg. forecast for today.  After hearing more about Robbie than he would like to know (Ros & Arnold's son) we met him for the first time today as we got off the ship – he had arrived with an abundance of something for Mum & Dad, probably more clothes??  A short, swift walk up the Brisbane River to Bretts Wharf and alighted our ferry for the beautiful trip to the Queen Street Mall wharf – what a pretty trip with those gorgeous Queenslanders lining the foreshore, and all shapes and sizes of boats to go with them.

After coffee and internet catch up, did some necessary shopping and I then sent Colin back to the ship, while I enjoyed a yummy lunch with one of my oldest girlfriends, her daughter and beautiful new baby.  Lots of chatter and catch up and also plenty of cuddles with little Molly and then another pleasant river trip 'home' – WOW our ship looks awesome!!

After dinner we went to Showtime and watched Trevor Knight's concert.  He was on our last cruise to China/Japan and we enjoy his diversity of entertainment.  We also used to see him in pubs around Sydney, many, many years ago.   Tonight he was singing songs from Neil Diamond, Kenny Rogers, Paul McCartney and more of his 'old mates' – a very good show…….
