DAYS 66/69 - 16/19 SEPTEMBER, 2013 - SEA DAYS

Well those 4 sea days slipped away very quickly.  As well as some blog catching up, I have enjoyed 2 Cooking Classes with our Master Chef Alfredo.  The first a 'Middle Eastern' flavoured demonstration, which included Hummus, Kofta, Couscous and Baklava – all sound delicious – wish we could taste them!!!

The other demonstration was all about cooking with rice.  I had no idea that there were over 100 varieties of rice  -  I just thought - white long/short/medium grain, brown, basmati, jasmine and alborio!!!  He cooked Sichuan Fried Rice and a luscious looking Ricotta & Rice Cake.

Sea days are filled with fun extra curricular activities and I managed to witness not a very pretty site – a sexy legs competition.  Three men competed - the first two were mediocre, then this guy took it to the limit…. and of course was the winner!!

We've had another formal night and also had a lovely night at the Sterling Steakhouse.  There has been an anniversary celebration for Meg & Mal (photo bit blurry), which meant another pose on the table.

Tried to go to the movies under the stars, but too windy.

We're now on our way to Salalah…..
