DAYS 77/79 – 27/29 SEPTEMBER, 2013 – SEA DAYS

These 3 sea days were so much fun and we're all now counting down the sleeps until we return home, and making the most of our great friendships we have made on board – with nice celebrations to enjoy…..

Firstly our very Last Culinary Class by our Master Chef Commendatore, Alfredo Marzi –  Panettone, Lobster Pasta, Tuna Steak and Sunrise Lime Pie – all look delish!!!  After the class we had a walk through the amazing and very impressive Galley, were given our 'certificate of diplomacy' from our lovely Executive Chef, Amedeo Scarin, and then the signing of the cookbook – and yes, am guilty – bought yet another cookbook (have been downsizing our home for the last few months, but just had to have it!!!)

We were fortunate to have good coverage of the NRL Final and Colin's "Roosters" came up trumps, beating the Knights – a really good game!!  Hey, we're into the Grand Final!!  Celebrations continued well into the night – yet another Deck Party.

Then another fun event was the Crew Tug of War, an annual event between the different departments on the ship which was bigger than Ben-Hur, but fun to watch.

Ros organized our last Mad Hatters Lunch with our Cruise Critic mates and it was so good – great to see the wonderful smiling faces of each and all 'just having fun' and being a little bit crazy – winners were the big lime feathers and the psychedelic mullet…  Great meeting you all and hope to meet up again one day – somewhere!!

It was a lovely evening and before dinner we were all invited to the Captain's Circle Party, up on Deck 12 – lots of bubbly and canapés, Captain Pickford making his speech and introducing the most travelled passengers.

To cap off a very big day it was Meg's birthday and we surprised her with a dress up dinner (Ros & Jo did all the organizing) – great table decos, beautiful cake and such a fantastic night.   Meg - normally not wanting too much attention – totally lapped up the entire evening of fun and frivolity, from beginning to…… dragging her out of the dining room, laughing hilariously!!!

Photos:  Lots of fun photos of the last few sea days.
